Water, exactly as the glacier made it
Icelandic Glacial did not set out to build a water company. They set out to bottle the single purest source they could find — and change nothing about it on the way to your door.
For 5,000 years, rainfall and snowmelt have filtered slowly through Iceland's ancient lava rock into the Ölfus Spring. We simply found where it surfaces, and bottled it before anything could touch it.

The legendary Ölfus Spring, formed over 5,000 years ago
Long before man reached the remote island of Iceland, a massive volcanic eruption created the Ölfus Spring deep below the earth's surface. Today it is constantly replenished by Iceland's abundant rainfall and snowmelt, which filters slowly through layers of lava rock to a perfect mineral balance.
Shielded by an impenetrable layer of lava rock and a 128,000-acre exclusion zone of untouched fields, the spring overflows more than 900,000 cubic meters into the ocean every day. We bottle just 0.1% of that runoff — directly at the source, naturally alkaline at pH 8.4, with nothing added or taken away.
The journey of a single bottle
Abundant rainfall and snowmelt fall onto untouched lava fields in southwest Iceland, above the spring.
Over 5,000 years it filters through ancient lava rock, becoming naturally alkaline with a perfect mineral balance.
It collects in the Ölfus Spring, deep below the surface and shielded by impenetrable lava rock.
It flows straight into our facility and is bottled in glass — first meeting open air when you break the seal.
Pristine water deserves a pristine planet
Bottling the purest water on earth means nothing if we damage the world it comes from. Every decision we make — from glass to logistics — is measured against a simple question: does this leave Iceland, and everywhere else, a little cleaner?
Infinitely recyclable bottles. No single-use plastic, ever.
Our source facility runs entirely on geothermal and hydroelectric power.
Plastic-free, returnable cases that protect glass in transit.

We are not in the business of making water. Nature did that perfectly, five thousand years ago. We are simply its careful couriers.
